Intelligent Automation for Coke Oven Battery Complex

Automating the Coke Oven Battery Complex involves a comprehensive Level-1 automation system that encompasses Monitoring, Control, Alarm, and Interlock functions for both process parameters and equipment. A system, primarily driven by the Distributed Control System (DCS), will streamline and enhance processes such as Charging, Stamping, and Quenching of Coke, ensuring efficient and precise operations. Incorporating a complementary PLC-based Level-1 automation system, responsible for monitoring and sequentially operating specific facilities within the complex. Every machine within the Coke Oven Battery, including the Pusher Car, Charging Car, Guide Car, and Coke Bucket Car, will be equipped with in-built PLCs for their operation and positioning. The collaborative network of PLCs will work harmoniously with the Central DCS to achieve precise auto-positioning of each respective machine, ensuring the overall efficiency and reliability of our Coke Oven Battery Complex.
